Cycle 360 Partners with Mental Health Charitable Initiative

Isle Listen have partnered up with Cycle 360 to host one of the charitable initiative’s TAP TO GIVE™ contactless donation terminals.

The TAP TO GIVE™ terminal will be installed at the Cycle 360 cafe on the till area and allow customers of Cycle 360 to optionally support and donate between £2 and £45 to Isle Listen by tapping their contactless device.  The terminal enables supporters to effortlessly donate, with a transaction taking just a few seconds.

The news comes at the same time as Cycle 360’s cafe and fitness club announcing its continued partnership with Isle Listen as it’s charitable initiative of the year for the two parts of the business until at least March 2022.

Due to the continuing global pandemic and local lockdowns in 2020 and now in 2021, charities have seen a significant impact upon their fundraising efforts and mental health charities have seen an increase in demand for their mental health and wellbeing support..

Isle Listen has been supported by Cycle 360 since the charitable initiative launched in September 2019 with various ‘mental fitness’ events held in aid of Isle Listen in 2019 and in 2020, as well as Cycle 360’s cafe loyalty card scheme, whereby its customers gain a fee hot drink on every 10th visit, with Cycle 360 making a lump sum donation to the charity in exchange. This collaborative project demonstrates Cycle 360’s commitment to supporting Island-based charities.

Talking about the technology and partnership, Annabel Chambers, Isle Listen Project Lead commented: ” We’re extremely grateful to Cycle 360 for hosting one of our new TAP TO GIVE™ donation terminals and for their continued support of our charity for at least the next twelve months. We know that Cycle 360 cafe staff consider it a vital part of their day to day responsibilities to positively engage with all their customers, which makes a huge difference to people’s emotional well-being.”

Sacha Horsthuis, Director – Cycle 360 said: “Isle Listen is continuing to make a real difference to the lives of people across the Isle of Man right now.  To now have an easy way for our customers to donate to a charitable organisation that we thoroughly believe in, and have an impact on the success of the charity delivering its objectives, is just fantastic.”
