Wheel-mounted and direct drive trainers 

If you’re new to the indoor training game, a great entry level piece of kit is a wheel-mounted trainer. They require minimal fiddling as they work by mounting your bike wheel onto a flywheel, which controls the resistance. This makes the trainer really transportable and set-up super straightforward. 

Looking for something a bit more advanced? You can also find direct drive trainers at Cycle 360. With these, you remove the rear wheel of your bike and the trainer replaces it. Your bike fits onto the trainer and the bike’s chain drives a cassette attached to it. These indoor trainers are better for those who want to sprint fast with the reassurance that their bike will remain stable. 

All direct drive trainers and selected models of wheel-mounted indoor trainers have ANT+ connectivity. This allows you to link up to your favourite virtual training platforms such as Zwift, System and FulGaz.
