Cycle 360 Celebrates 5 Years

As Cycle 360 celebrates 5 years, it’s the perfect time to reflect on how we have become an indispensable part of the Isle of Man community!

A Haven for Cycling Enthusiasts

With our combined commitment to opening seven days a week and our near-countryside and near-city location, Cycle 360’s bikeshop has grown tenfold in just five years.  Starting out with high-end boutique brands out of a pop-up shop in nearby Eden Park, Cycle 360’s diverse portfolio caters for all needs and budgets thanks to the trust from global brands and them wanting to be part of our story.  Take Rapha and Santa Cruz as two examples! Five years on, we are the very(!) proud local and independent bike shop to multiple world-class brands from Cube, Specialized, Cannondale, Pinarello, Merida, Santa Cruz and Haibike.

As an Isle of Man bikeshop, we have garnered a reputation for 1) exceptional customer service (check out all our reviews on our online shop!) and 2) our expert, down-to-earth team.  Whether you’re a pro or novice (or not even sure what you are!), Cycle 360 won’t pigeon hole you, as it’s all about offering expert, no BS advice. Our shop caters for personalised shopper experiences, and is home to an extensive selection of top-quality bikes, making it the go-to destination for all things cycling on the Isle of Man, for all ages and all abilities.

Fuelling Adventure

What sets us apart from conventional bike shops is our marriage to cafe culture.

And what make us a unique cafe experience, is our quality of experience and ease of parking(!).

We’re proud to say we’ve never sacrificed quality over having a better margin. Fact.

We’re even prouder that our café of five years is a staple to hundreds of Isle of Man residents: from a person’s daily coffee – who doesn’t even need to order, we just know!  To our weekend brunch-ers and Sunday coffee club-bers.  We have always aimed to be a refreshing space for everyone.  Somewhere that inspires through thought-out interior, impeccable coffee, wholesome food and excellent service. But don’t just take our word for it, check out our Google reviews here. And if you’ve been coming to us for the past five years, please leave us one – our team absolutely love reading them!

The Cycle 360 cafe has grown so much over the last five years we’ve never stood still.  We’re constantly thinking of innovative ways to improve your experience. We’ve added interior touches like the graffiti art on our barista station, created and invested in new spaces like our garden terrace, implemented seasonal menus like the introduction of a kids menu, plus put on pop-up events like our annual apres-ski nights!

Fundamentally, we want our Isle of Man cafe to offer respite for everyone and anyone that seeks proper coffee and home-made food in an atmosphere where you can relax and connect with friends. To still be on that journey with you five years on, makes us all extremely happy and fulfilled.

Supporting The Growth of Isle of Man Cycling

We have been a beacon of support for local causes throughout our five-year journey. Through a proactive approach, we have advocated for change through running not-for profit initiatives, voluntarily putting on events and supporting clubs and events with resource and funding.

Our Supported Athlete programme is something we’ve implemented recently, but having brand ambassadors is something we’ve always done and other bikeshops do too.  Through our unique dedicated programme, in addition to having brand ambassadors, our Supported Athlete programme has allowed us to set aside specific funding for 10 local cyclists that need and deserve support.  Arming them with the PR they deserve, access to free products and generous discounts, as well as financial support, to support them and their cycling aspirations.

Our Coffee club rides run every third Sunday of the month where we host an hour-long social group road ride and fix everyone up with a free coffee in our cosy cafe after it.  Through putting on these monthly rides, we have fostered a community of cyclists, built social networks and provided a relaxed setting for like-minded people to have a laugh and experience the camaraderie that two-wheels brings.

The Cycle 360 MTB Series  in its fourth season is our mountain-bike plantation series.  Run purely voluntarily for the love of seeing people race for fun, our in-house team have worked tirelessly within their own free-time on days off to put together specific xc courses.

Not stopping there, we support, sponsor, help organise and run local sportives and challenges like the Isle of Man Lighthouses Challenge, Gran Fondo Isle of Man and the Cycle 360 2-Day Enduro.

Team 360 thrives off working with like-minded individuals that want to grow the support locally: no matter what discipline of cycling!

Everything listed above is done with the aim of giving back.  By shopping with Cycle 360, you’re allowing our brand to grow, so we can continue to invest in the growth of Isle of Man cycling.

Looking Ahead

As Cycle 360 celebrates its fifth-year anniversary, the future is bright.  Our proven passion we’ve displayed in strengthening the cycling community and perfecting the cafe culture experience has laid a solid foundation for continued success.  With an eye towards expansion and innovation, Cycle 360 aims to offer even more services and experiences that cater to the evolving needs of our adventurous community!

Through unwavering commitment to exceptional service and community engagement, we’re proud to play an integral part of the daily lives of hundreds.  As we continue to pedal forward,  our dedication to inspire, fuel adventure and introduce people to the freedom of cycling, remains and will do for many years to come!

And this is important to remember: independents have been an integral part of local communities all over the world for years.  The biggest of heart-felt thanks to our customers of five years or five minutes: it’s time we all recognise the role independents play in our wider community. We must continue to support local wherever you can!
